Yoga – Birthday Week

I’m not gonna lie, I’m pretty darn excited it’s my birthday week. Birthdays are awesome, period. So with my whole 26 things to do before I turn 27 upon me, I’ve been frantically, let’s say eagerly, trying to finish the last of the list. Hand standing was a big one, but I’ve been pushing myself to try some more advanced poses, like scorpion (forearm standing) and some hollow back stretches. I’m like hey, why not right? No time like the present, and I have to say I’m surprised I’ve even been able to attempt, let alone get into these poses.
These are just two videos of some small progress I’ve made with the two. Not 100% there yet, but I’m trying. It’s been nice to bend my back a bit and give it a good stretch, it’s so invigorating. It’s amazing how rooted you can feel to the ground with just your hands, there really is an amazing spiritual essence to it all. I love it and I’m grateful for my daily practice.


I hope y’all enjoy and get inspired to go out and try something maybe you thought you never could. I am so excited for the week, whooooo!!
