Ok, so I know this trip was last Novemeber celebrating our second anniversary, buuuuut I figured it was time I blog about it a bit. There’s SO MUCH to write about that honestly I can’t possibly even know how/where to start. Basically though, Spain is gorgeous in every way possible. The people, the food, the architecture, the land, all so incredibly beautiful.
We went during a cooler time of the year which I think made the trip much easier and stress free. Cooler temps meant shorter lines into places like the Royal Palace and other hot spots, and provided an overall more comfortable atmosphere since you’re not sweating buckets.
We started our trip in Madrid, then took the high speed AVE train to Valencia, Barecelona and back to Madrid. The photos are kinda in that order. We can’t wait to go back, there’s so much still left to see. I’m lucky and blessed to have crossed off so many things off my bucket list like seeing Guernica at a museum in Madrid (I cried a tiny bit, it was a big deal to me) and of course the two biggies; La Sagrada Familia (teared up a bit there too, I mean really, pictures will never do this basillica justice) and Park Guell. There was so much good food, good wine, good conversations, and just amazing adventure. You can’t walk 10 feet without seeing something absolutely beautiful there. It was a great way to spend our anniversary, we learned so much and felt so much. I hope you all enjoy the photos! A bit late, but better late than never!
