It’s way too hot around here to enjoy Fall clothing, boo, but it doesn’t mean I can’t try and enjoy some of the cooler weather color palate in some of my outfits right?
Last night’s date called for some faux leather, a basic tank, paired with one of my favorite thrift store finds, and of course my go-to strappys.
I found this beaded jacket a few months back at a local thrift shop for $3. It was actually paired with a dress that was kinda eh, and so I ditched the dress and kept the jacket. The jacket fits loosely, but I think that keeps it from looking too stiff, but more relaxed and versatile for day-to-night wear. It’s good to have a few interesting pieces in your closet that add a bit of character to your look.
There’s not greater satisfaction than knowing this outfit, minus the purse and heels, is $35.
I’m off to do some thrifting this weekend for some up and coming DIYs, wish me luck!
P.S outfit details and where to purchase are at the bottom of the post.
