So the Harem Pant, kind of one of those odd trends I know, but I’m completely digging them right now. Maybe it’s the slouchy, casual vibe that I like, it hides things, and sometimes I can use some hiding. It’s comfort and fem all in one.
With trends like this, I’ve always stressed to either DIY or thrift it since you don’t want to be out a good amount of money with how quickly some of these fads fade. Although, I think that sometimes if you purchase a good fit, in neutral colors/patterns you can get away with stretching a trend like this a few seasons, which is what I aim to do.
In Corpus we are lucky to have Threads, one of the best second hand stores I’ve ever been to, and I thrift a lot. I found these beauties there for an amazing $7!! They are black, with a jewel tone square print all over, they are slouchy enough to rock that casual vibe, but not Hammer Time style. So if you are in the Corpus area and want to score some amazing second hand looks, don’t pass them up.
To wear this look now and later, I kept my top simple. The pants are enough, so you don’t wanna go over board with too much of a blouse. I like stretchy tees and tanks like this, they keep you cool enough in these hot temps, plus they stay tucked in comfortably. Fall will more than likely call for a stretchy long sleeve instead, and in even cooler temps you can layer up with a cropped moto like this one. Strappy heels keep your legs looking lean, but I think a nice pointed flat would work nicely too.
Give it a go and see what ya think!
